Helping Children of Ukraine CIC

This concert has been organised to raise enough money to pay for two second-hand ambulances to be bought and sent to Ukraine.   The line-up is superb, featuring some of the very best choirs in the South West, some great solo performances, and an appearance by Sir Michael Morpurgo who has written a special story about a Ukrainian girl who makes her way to the UK.

In our most recent Relief Aid Mission, we drove across Europe and into Ukraine, delivering urgently needed medical supplies and essentials to families affected by the war. Our objective is to support children, mothers, and fathers affected by the conflict in Ukraine, both in Cornwall and in Ukraine.

Working in partnership with Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change we are involved with weekly lunches, English lessons, Conversational English, safe spaces, art therapy, dance groups, cooking, crafts and a choir of Refugee ladies.

Our twinning program aims to connect schools in the UK with schools in Ukraine, providing a unique opportunity for students to learn about each other's cultures and to understand the meaning of charitable works.
